Out of Lubbock, TX, Hex is doing more and more performances and killing it every time. Genuine hip hop, reppin’ his city and keeping it real. If you don’t like the words that come out of his mouth, you’ll be moving to the beats, so either way you’re sucked in. Hex is one of the best hip hop artists in Lubbock right now. I can’t wait for others to start checking it out.

Calloused Hardcore band out of Midland/Odessa, TX that just started up. With influences like Pantera and Notorious B.I.G, you just have to “like” their page on facebook and see what you’re missing out on. They even have a twitter, if you’re not into the whole facebook thing!

Not Half Bad Well, their name says it all. And honestly, I love their About Me section on their page because I feel like they describe their music the best. “We’re a band from Dallas/Fort Worth who play energetic Dirty Folk/Punk focused on eating tacos, sticking it to the man, having a good time, calling out big brother, being awkward, remaining non-complacent, telling overly crude, offensive, and always inappropriate jokes, and bringing the turbulence ALL NIGHT EVERY NIGHT. ”

Pine Box Pine Box is a venue in Midland, TX started up by a few guys in the scene. Now, over a year later.. the Pine Box is still doing great shows with a ton of awesome bands coming through.
